Fuzhou Strait Culture and Art Center
Designed by the Finnish design master Pekka Salminen, the project covers an area of about 150,000 square meters. The total construction cost is about 3.5 billion RMB. It becomes an international landmark building of Fuzhou, which is a cultural and historical city with a history of more than 2,200 years. The entire building’s facade is clad with LOPO white glazed terracotta panels and glazed terracotta louvers. Jiadu Kindergarten, located in Yanjiao Town, Sanhe City, prefers LOPO clay facing bricks as the external wall materials for its buildings. China Resources University
Developed by China Resources (Holdings) Co.,Ltd, China Resources University (also named Xiao Jing Wan University) is a masterpiece of the world renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners. As a masterpiece representing China’s campus architecture design, this project highlights a unique design -- slender red brick curtain wall. To ensure the perfection of the university, the architects repeatedly compared and chose from dozens of different types of red bricks, and finally selected LOPO to be the supplier of terracotta bricks for this project.This project has been selected from entries to the world's most prestigious award for architecture, the RIBA International Prize 2018.Read more
Hamburg House, EXPO 2010
Hamburg House is one of German projects in Expo 2010 Shanghai Urban Best Practices Area. The 2300 SQM building is the first certified Passive House in China that meets the most stringent energy saving standards in the world. Every part of this hidden energy architecture must meet the highest energy saving requirements. LOPO China was chosen by German architects from among premium Chinese manufacturers of clay exterior wall products to be the supplier of this project.
China Technology Training Center for Children
Located in Haidian District of Beijing City, this large public welfare building is one of the key construction projects in China’s 12th Five Year Plan, and constructed and operated by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation. This project has won awards including Beijing City Structure Great Wall Cup Golden Award, Beijing City Green Construction Demonstration Project Award, Luban Award for Construction Project.Since a variety of complicated building facade structures exist in this project, LOPO specifically made nearly 30 types of terracotta panels and baguettes with different widths, thicknesses and curves, which require to be cut into more than 100 dimensions.Read more
